All The Things I Couldn’t Say

By Katherine Sortini

All The Things I Couldn’t Say is an original devised theatre piece inspired by the website, The Unsent Project.

A show devised from anonymous submissions from around the world, it centres around things people have always wanted to say, or have nearly said, but couldn’t.

What things can’t we say to each other and what would happen if we did? How would our lives evolve? Would our relationships change? Would we be happy? Or not?

All The Things I Couldn’t Say: First Rendition premiered at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe with a sold-out season and 5 star review. All The Things I Couldn’t Say won the Adelaide Festival Centre’s InSpace Fringe Award at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Awards.

All The Things I Couldn’t Say was programmed in the 2022 RUMPUS Season for a 2 week season and premiered in October 2023 at the Flinders Drama Centre.

All The Things I Couldn't Say returns in 2026 as part of Goodwood Theatre & Studios' COMEBACK Festival, from August 27th to 30th.

All The Things I Couldn't Say was made possible with the support of a Quick Response Grant from the Adelaide Fringe Fund. During this time, Katherine Sortini and the original company - Mark Oakley, Arran Beattie, Caithlin O'Loghlen, Kate Bonney, Kidaan Zelleke, Liam Combridge, Zola Allen, Alexis Luke, and Eddie Morrison - devised and created the storylines that form the heart of this work. It would be remiss not to acknowledge those original artists as essential to the cultural storytelling that has shaped this piece into what it is today.

Without the support of The Adelaide Fringe, RUMPUS Theatre, Vitalstatix and The Department of the Premier and Cabinet through Arts South Australia, none of this would have been possible.
