The Damage is Done is a gripping and intimate one-person performance that delves into queerness, sisterhood, and immigrant family dynamics. At its heart is Isadora, a young queer woman growing up with her sister, Kristina ‘Kris,’ in a tight-knit Italian-Australian family. When a devastating secret about Kris surfaces, Isadora makes the bold decision to come out, thinking nothing could be more scandalous. She’s wrong.

Through sharp wit, emotional vulnerability, and powerful storytelling, The Damage is Done lays bare the tangled web of identity, love, shame, and the complex truths we inherit and resist.

The Damage Is Done plays a season at Qtopia Sydney, 25–27 June at The Loading Dock Theatre (Thu 25 & Fri 26 June, 6:00pm; Sat 27 June, 3:00pm). Book here.
